Camp Roosevelt is a BSA camp providing Scouts with a safe, fun, and educational environment. Nestled at the base of Black Cap Mountain and along the shores of Little Fitts Pond, the camp sits on 1,800 acres of pristine Maine wilderness, making it an ideal setting for outdoor exploration and personal growth.

Scouts at Camp Roosevelt develop leadership skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories while connecting with nature and their peers. The camp’s scenic trails, peaceful lakefront areas, and immersive outdoor experiences are all designed to complement the Scouting program.

Camp Facilities

As a BSA Nationally Accredited Camp, Camp Roosevelt is equipped to handle all kinds of Scouting programs:
  • 13 cabin-style campsites for up to 32 campers each
  • 4 canvas tent platform campsites for up to 24 campers each
  • 2 handicap-accessible campsites and 2 primitive campsites
  • Showers with running hot water at several locations throughout camp
