Scoutreach Programs

Scoutreach is Scouting's outreach program to help ensure that all boys have an opportunity to join Scouting, regardless of their circumstances or economic situation.  Minsi Trails Council, through funding provided by generous supporters like yourself, provides Scouting program materials, camping opportunities, uniforms, and program leadership to many youth from disadvantaged families.

Scoutreach is a major program focus for Minsi Trails Council since 2002 and serves nearly 1,500 young people in Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, and Luzerne counties.  Scoutreach is typically an after-school program that provides a safe environment for young people to gain the character and leadership development benefits of Scouting programs right in their own schools.

Scouting builds character and leadership in youth and helps build stronger families, schools and communities

Cub Scouting, for boys in 1st through 5th grades, is learning by discovery and discovery by doing.  It's fun, friends, and families, where skills are learned and confidence built.

Boy Scouting
, for boys ages 11 through 17, is high adventure and serious fun.  A Scout who experiences teamwork while rock climbing comes home stronger.  A Scout who hikes and camps learns to appreciate the outdoors.  Scouting is outdoor fun and builds character and leadership.
