Winter Camping at Minsi Trails
Spend an action packed weekend at Camp Minsi in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Sleep in large Patrol/Troop tents heated by wood stoves and aprticipate in cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing and various other winter activities.
This winter campout is an official Minsi Trails Council Winter Camp, being run by the Minsi Trails Council Camping Program in its 14th year. Check-in at Camp Minsi starts at 8:00 am on Saturday. The closing ceremony of Winter Camp will be at noon on Monday.

OTHER ASPECTS OF REGISTRATION:
Registration for Winter Camp 2014 is now open. During the open registration period, other troops will be asked if they want to register. All troops who want to register will be asked to submit a registration form. Reservations are limited to one patrol per troop. Each patrol consists of 8 Scouts. Fewer scouts will be accepted at the same total price. [Maximum capacity of tents is 8 Scouts] Each patrol is expected to arrive on Saturday morning and stay until Monday noon. Troops must follow the Scout and Patrol requirements shown below. It is acceptable if a troop with less than 8 scouts teams with another smaller troop to enter a complete patrol of 8 scouts – fill out a joint registration form.
TROOP DEPOSIT: Once a troop is selected for Winter Camp program, a $200 deposit is due immediately. Winter Camp will not be oversubscribed, if payment is not made within 5 working days, the troop’s spot will be rolled down to the next troop on the list.
FULL PAYMENT: The full payment of $950.00 per unit for all Scouts and Adults attending is required to be paid at MTC Camping Office no later than 13 November 2013. Due to limited space at Winter Camp and expenses of presenting the weekend, refunds are not available. Scout substitutions are permissible and troops are encouraged to create a waiting list of scouts in case a participant is unable to attend.
